Job Description 

Under the supervision of the Software Manager, you will work on a challenging project cutting-edge Web technologies. You will participate in the development of a Web Geographic Information System application with social network features.

English language is NOT required. Our software manager speaks Vietnamese, English, French.

Salary ranges from 14,000,000 to 16,000,000 VND a month depending on your experience.

Anyone who introduces a candidate will receive 2,000,000 VND after the period of two (2) months guarantee following the commencement date of employment of this candidate.

Responsibilities 

● Design & develop web applications using latest technology

● Understanding key server-side web development concepts

● Creating templates for web development framework

● Participate in analysis and design concept functionality using AJAX & JavaScript

● Testing cross-browser, cross-platforms, and/or cross-device compatibility for inconsistencies

● Adhere to and promote standards and web development best practices

● Testing for compliance to specified standards such as accessibility standards

● Keep up to date with latest HTML APIs and related technology

Required Skilled

● 2+ years of relevant experience in Web Development with HTML 5 & CSS 3

● 1+ years of professional or open-source experience writing JavaScript (not just jQuery)

● Experience with BEM notation is a plus

● Experience with CSS framework such as LESS, Sass, etc. is a plus

● Familiarity with standard JavaScript async patterns (closures, callbacks, promises, error handling, etc.) is a plus

● Never ending desire to self-educate on the latest list of web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks and bleeding edge browser features

● Knowledge in object oriented programming

Appreciated Skills

● Experience with a source code management software

● Experience coding against RESTful APIs or service oriented middle tiers

● Passion for user experience and strong design experience

● Agile coding experience, working in small teams that have made a big impact fast

● Experience with a data visualization package (Highcharts, d3.js, etc.)

● Experience with Google Maps API

● Experience writing Tablet or Mobile applications
